Digital Bangladesh Paragraph: ‘Digital Bangladesh’ is at present a buzzword to the people of all classes. It means digitalizing Bangladesh by ensuring and ICT based society where information will be available on line and where all possible tasks of the government or semi-government will be performed using digital technology. The motto of digital Bangladesh is to establish technology based digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture, e-production, e-education, etc. emphasizing the overall development of the country and nation.

The benefits of digital Bangladesh are many. If we can establish a digital Bangladesh, corruption will be drastically reduced by enhancing transparency and accountability. It will make people think globally and connect them with the whole world economically, politically, socially, academically and even culturally. It will improve banking and financial activities. Agriculture, health, education, commerce-all these sectors will be highly benefited by , making Bangladesh a digital one.

For implementing this dream of digital Bangladesh, government has to take certain initiatives. First of all, uninterrupted power supply has to be ensured. We have to develop computer network infrastructures throughout the country. We also have to train our people to acquire ICT skill and ensure equitable access to digital governance services for all strata of the society.

Digital governance will curb crime and corruption and pave the way for our country’s rapid development. So, to see our country a digital one, government’s commitment and people’s co-operation are urgently required. Finally, our education should be computer bases and primary and secondary schools students should get easy access to the computer.

Alternative Digital Bangladesh Paragraph:

Digital Bangladesh is now the most pronounced phrase in our country. The word ‘digitals’ is that is recorder or broadcast using computer technology.

As computer technology works with ’O’ and ‘I’, it is called so. ‘O’ means off or absence of electricity and ‘I’ means ‘on’ or presence of electricity. It is not an easy task to transform Bangladesh into a digitalized country.

A number of problems stand in the way. Ours is a poor country and most of the people are illiterate. In order to digitalize the country we have to develop the Infrastructure. Corruption is the hardest nut to crack.

Above all most people do not have clear idea of the term. In short digitalization means making all the utility services accessible to the mass people through computer or internet to ensure accountability and transparency.
