A Book Fair Paragraph: Now a days book fair has become very popular. It has created a sense of interest for books amongst the general mass.

In a book fair a lot of pavilions are set up. All sorts of books like fiction, text books, dramas, children books, reference books, novels etc. are displayed. There are also food and drink stalls.

A book fair become crowdy specially in the evening. Both male and female customers gather in a book fair. The writers also visit the fair regularly. Seminars and cultural programmes are also held.

A book fair reminds us that books are our best companions. They are always at our side when we are in danger. They change our outlook on life and widen our domain of knowledge. It is books which help us to forget jealousy, malice and superstition. Again we get these best friends as a cheaper rate from a book fair.

A book fair is the place where books of various kinds are bought, sell and display. It is a very popular fair. In facts, a book fair is considered to be an occasion of great festivity to the books lover.

It is usually held in the winter season on an open place in most of the major cities of the country. The main thing of book fair is not sell but display of books on different subjects. It is organized by various institutions on various occasions, namely victory day, independence day etc.

The leading publisher of the country set up stalls of their recent publications as well as old ones. Various kinds of novels, poetical works and science fictions are mainly available in a book fair. A festive look prevails all around.

The renowned artists, poets intellectuals gather there and take part in the seminars and cultural programmes . This year, I paid and visit to the Ekushey Boi Mela, the most popular book fair held in the premises of Bangla Academy.

My personal impression about a books fair is that it can play an important role in developing the habit of reading books among the people. It is a device to spread culture, education and knowledge. It changed our outlook on life and widens our domain of learning.
